Singer Kevy Lettau has been strongly identified with Brazillian music because of her association with Sergio Mendes and her own Brazilian-oriented recordings.
This show features Kevyn Lettau and her music recorded at MOPA in Balboa Park in San Diego. The essential fact for Kevyn is that despite her colorful eclecticism, she is a jazz artist at heart.
She has written most of her original songs with Grammy Award-winning keyboardist Russell Ferrante (of the Yellowjackets) who accompanies her on this show on keyboards. Also appearing is Jerry Watts on bass.
